Paul R. Peterson of Portland, Oregon (although just as likely to be in Porto, Riyadh, Tegucigalpa or who-know-where at any given time). He is an entrepreneur, inventor, investor, pointy-nosed jet pilot and mildly mad scientist focused on climate change solutions, resilience and sustainability. He believes in all peoples’ right to clean energy, clean water, peace and abundance.
The metrics of biosphere health are moving in wrong directions and at alarming rates over the past 150 years, which is putting all species (humans, too) at risk of extinction within this century. Unsustainable pressures on Earth’s ecosystem are exacerbated by demand and conflict over resources by the vast majority of us, i.e., the “developing world”. Musk and Bezos can go to Mars and send us a postcard… we’re staying right here to solve these important problems while we still can.
